JOHN BELLAMY (bef. 1683 - aft. 1708) AND HIS CHILDREN
In 1699 John Bellamy married Hanasse Cooe (spelling uncertain) at Gringley-on-the-Hill in Nottinghamshire. The couple had a son, Thomas, born in 1708. In 1750 Thomas married Elizabeth (surname unknown), and had a son, Samuel, born in 1753. Thomas died in 1765.
THE CHILDREN OF THOMAS (1708 - 1765)
Thomas’ son Samuel was born in 1753. In 1776 he married Sarah (surname unknown), with whom he had a daughter, Elizabeth, born in 1786. Sarah died in 1807, while Samuel lived on until 1843.
THE CHILDREN OF SAMUEL (1753 - 1843)
Samuel’s daughter Elizabeth was born in 1786. She married Thomas William Smith, by whom she had a son, Arthur, in 1818. She died in 1825.
